For the Norwegian disaster movie The Quake, we designed and operated the screen graphics for the seismic control center—over 30 live screens tracking the catastrophic earthquake hitting Oslo. Our visuals provided a critical layer of realism, featuring real-time seismic data, and live news feeds as the city crumbled under the quake. All content was developed to run live on set, allowing seamless interaction with the actors and the evolving chaos of the scene. By blending precise digital design with practical, in-camera effects, we ensured that the visuals felt grounded and heightened the film's intense atmosphere. Our approach reinforced the high stakes of the narrative, capturing the urgency and scale of a natural disaster unfolding in the heart of Norway’s capital.
